She spent five years with Rural Press covering rural affairs and state and federal politics, before moving into strategic communication in the corporate, government and agricultural sectors. Claire has experience in the cotton, beef and fisheries industries and currently works with the NSW Government, private sector, educational institutions and non-profit organisations and associations. She is experienced in community liaison and workshop facilitation and has exceptional communication and organisational capabilities. Claire is a director of The Foundation for Australian Agricultural Women and The Regional Institute.

Roger is a rural scientist who spent 15 years as a consultant agronomist and director of a family farming business, before moving into information technology. He has a postgraduate diploma in applied finance and investment and is completing a masters degree in electronic publishing systems. Roger specialises in information and knowledge management and electronic publishing. He applies a range of technical, financial and computer skills to analysing agricultural production, natural resource management and community development issues. Roger is the founder of The Regional Institute, a public company that publishes information that ought to be freely available in the public domain on the Internet. It is one of Australia's largest full-text websites.
